Very pretty views of the Verde Valley and the high desert as it stretches up the rim to Flagstaff. A nice drive and the road is pretty good.

This road climbs to over 6000' along the side of a mountain with good views. It then turns and levels out on the top of the mesa. Some excellent grassland exists on the mesa. Nothing really scenic on any part of the road, that could be driven in a passenger car, if you watch out for a few high rocks.
