Beautiful way to see the red rocks of Sedona. Challenging climb up and down, but well worth it for the view from the top. Short hike - 90 minutes out and back, and a great introduction to experiencing the area.

Well worth the rock scaling. Great views at the end. Had to park up the road as all the parking was full. Busy trail. Great camaraderie and encouragement for scaling the more challenging parts for those of us will aging knees! Seemed longer than a mile.

Amazing hike, some vertical scrambling up a crevice. Best hike I did in Sedona with a splendid view at the top! Go early to get it all to yourself

An early morning hike that surprised me with scrambling. I can't imagine how it might be with peak traffic though. There are a lot of bottlenecks.

Great views and moderately challenging hiking combine for a great early morning excursion! Follow the cairns in wire mess inflexibly and you will be on the best path. There is a point about 20-25 mins in at which some people stop- if you do, you will have already seen great vistas and enjoyed a special short hike. However, if you choose to scale the small, somewhat steep crevice, you enter another stage of the trail that leads to the top- well worth it, in my opinion. To make scaling the crevice easier and safer, do not take a lot of gear- you won't need more than water, a hat, a first aid kit, and a small snack. Travel light and you'll also appreciate the flexibility coming back down, which can involve some "crab crawling." A memorable and beautiful hike- don't miss it!
