HikingGreat!No shade

It is a nice trail to do if you want distance with minimal incline. Lots of pretty flowers & a lot of lizards. Minimal shade - recommend checking it out early. Parking lot will be full, but trails aren’t overly crowded. Lots of people biking. 50/50 on people wearing masks.

Walking

Very leisurely walk through some nice open wooded areas. Not as much shade as other trails, so I could go earlier or around sunset. Saw a few on horseback. Quite a few dogs and seems popular since it’s near residential areas.

Hiking

Really nice hike through pretty woods and wide open meadows, with some decent views of Mt. Elden. Weather was perfect with lots of clouds and a cool breeze. Perfect trail for this desert lowlander just starting to get back into hiking after a long hiatus. One note of caution. It's easy to miss the turnoff from Country Club Drive onto East Old Walnut Canyon Road since the road sign is concealed by a tree. Turn left at the Wyndham sign and you'll be on the right road.

This is one of my new favorite trails! I’m new to the whole trail walking thing now that I have a dog who loves going for walks, and I really liked this loop. I was even lucky enough to find an elk cow who followed me along the trail for a little bit. Very gorgeous and great for dogs (No trash bins though, so leave it somewhere before the loop and pick it up on the way out).

Beautiful and simple trail for light strolls, runs or easy biking if you want to get “lost in the woods0 without being too far out

Very nice walk with beautiful scenery. When I went it was a bit crowded with bikers, but still very pleasant. Trailheads and directions are clearly marked. Logan and I took the Anasazi trail this trip.

I only did the Anasazi Loop, and from the parking lot out and back, I showed 3.2 miles. A nice easy walk in the forest. Mostly dirt track, and very few rocks. I saw 6 bicyclist, 5 joggers, and one hiker, besides myself and my dog.

Just what we were looking for. Nice hike, well marked and level. If we lived in the area I could see this being a trail I would do often.

My wife and I biked this loop and enjoyed the fairly even and open terrain. There were quite a few patches of rocky spots, but nothing that would force you stop and get off.

First to Review

Nice little trail that gives way to the larger trail of Campbell Mesa Loop. Its a nice way to get out for your house if you live near by but I wouldn't go out of my way to hike/bike this one.
