Has an awesome sandier portion with banked turns on the leg between Usery Pass and Phon D Sutton.

First time in Tonto National, pleasantly surprised at the beauty. Saguaros were starting to bloom.
The views of the east and west canyon walls were spectacular. Looking forward to taking the run coming from the southend for a different perspective. Some area will need 4W with full size Jeep. Nice half day run.

Had a lot of fun. A few tough parts but nothing beyond 4 High in my TJ on 33's. A few blind spots where you need to be wary of oncoming traffic. There were a couple of spots where the trail was a little confusing but overall it was easy to navigate.

Great trail for some easy riding and sight seeing. Nice views throughout. We never had to come out of two wheel drive in our Polaris General 4. It’s pretty quick riding in a UTV but offers plenty of places to stop and let the dogs run and play. One section also has a fun little atv/utv play area with some trails and light climbing. We went out and back and could have made it in 2.5 hours without stopping if needed. Longer if your in a Jeep or other off road full size. We were lucky to go after a nice rain. No dust. Need to get permits and gate codes from ranger station. It’s quick and easy and the rangers were very friendly.

Took our 2016 wrangler out for the first time here. 35” tires and lift. Was easy in general in 4H, went from Apache junction gate to bush highway, about 8 miles. Took 1.5 hours. Some steep parts and high clearance. Was a ton of fun! Great views the whole way through. Get a pass for gate code

Require gate code. Get a permit. Easy trail.

Moderately difficult (for young-at-heart 70 yo's). Great views even tho we didn't get all the way to the top. Will definitely go again to see views of Saguaro Lk and dam from the top. Minus 1 star bcause trails aren't marked and had to refer to map to make sure we were going the right way. Be aware of 4x4's and quads on 1st wide sandy section. No motorized vehicles allowed once you get to the actual hiking trail. p.s. We did not have a Tonto Natl Forest pass but decided to go anyway since none of the cars in lot had passes in their windows and we had NP in that regard.

This was a really fun trial. Fairly quiet, long course, needed 4WD a lot of the time in my modified Wrangler, had to use 4low a couple times. Beautiful views. Will definitely be back.

First time out with my new 4Runner and was pleasantly surprised with the challenge of this trail for a newbie.

First run in the new Jeep. Great place to get a feel for your rig, easy going. A couple of spots lock in the front axle and no problem. Beautiful area.

Spent six hours riding today with the kids and had a blast. Entered through the Wolverine Pass entrance and drove through to the AA pit entrance. Came back up and took FR10 to Bush Hwy. It was about half mile ride to Pebble Beach so we got out and let the kids swim and cool off. We had our 16 month old, 6 year old, and 7 year old with us who had a great time.

I taught my 12 year old son how to drive stick in our jeep on this very easy trail. The trail was a little boring for my highly modified jeep. No obstacles, but GREAT scenery. I was in 2 wheel drive for about 90% of the trail. Great trail for beginners, or sightseers.

Such a fun trial. Beautiful views. Once you hit the top of the mountain. Get out and start climbing on the mountain. View from all over Mesa.

Good for challenging off-roading.

Great off-road trail for ATV's. Went on a weekday and traffic was minimal. Grab your permit for the lock combination at the Mesa Ranger's Station before you go.

Wouldn't want to do this on a really hot day. Would be dusty as most of the "trail" is on Forest Rd 10 or in a wash. Great scenery except for views destroyed by power lines!

Hike, ride, offroad it. Fun.

We hiked this trail, even though it's probably more suitable for biking and ATVs, but the views were great and the trail was comfortable to hike.

Hiked the entire trail on a 80 degree New Years Day, a few years back. Although it's not normally used for hiking from what we observed, it has some great views to take in. Worth another hike!

Very clean. Make sure to get a free permit from the forest service. Easy as far as 4 wheeling goes but a fun drive.

Really fun. Go earlier on the day and you're practically on your own in the wild.

Bull dog was fun, a great place to go for the day. Did some repelling in the canyon. We didn't need a 4x4 to get where we needed to go but recommended for the rest of the trail. pass is free, you will need one to get in.
