OHV/Off-road driving

Had a great day in our JK. Lots of fire damage and loose rocks. Had fun zipping in a few washes off road. A bit much for our dog. Overall a fun run. I wouldn't say moderate. Maybe a few spots. Not car worthy.

OHV/Off-road driving

I just rode this Saturday and had a lot of fun. On a big bike, the three mile wash really tested my skills, but I never dropped the bike. Since it is springtime, there was a stretch of a few hundred yards where I was just riding in a creek.

This was so boring. It was just a road- a dirt and dust filled road. It was a casual stroll- no idea why it was ranked hard. Came to do the incline for the first 3.5 miles and went off trail to try and get something fun. Went up black Rock trail and scrambled to the top to make it somewhat challenging and fun.

This gets rougher as you go. When you are in the wash, it easy to lose the road and I needed 4wd to over a few large rocks in washouts. Glad I had a two door JK in one spot to climb out of the wash and back to the "road". Jeep or other OHVs only, not any SUV or regular truck will fit or have the needed clearance. I won't call this easy.

First to Review

Great views and easy trail. Make sure you have high clearance by FWD not needed during normal conditions. It's a bit of a trek so allow for 3 hours with sight seeing.
