Very enjoyable, a bit technical at the center of the loop but lots of fun. Very hot late day but still some breeze, next time I’ll go in the early morning I’m sure it’s more comfortable. Trail us well groomed and easily traversed.

It was a great hike with great views. There were lots of bugs. At the top, it gets a little rocky, and you sometimes have to climb up the rocks. At the top, the trail is hard to find, but i stayed on the trail. At the beginning, it is flat. In the middle, it gets a little rocky, but it is still flat. At the top, it is rocky and sometimes, you have to climb over the rocks.

Multiple places where you can enjoy a nice view! Wildflowers are out and the hike was easy until the last half mile. But SOO MANY BUGS. Other hikers who got to the summit around the same time i did didn’t stay at the top for more than a few minutes either because it got so uncomfortable.

A pretty, easy hike that gets scenic quickly. Right now it is so buggy that it’s not worth it though.

Great trail to get your heart pumping! Awesome views of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve as you ascend. Started at 5am, ran into two other people and had the summit all to myself. On the descent, I took a detour going around the base of Brown’s Mtn., to add a few more miles. Hiked on May 16, 2020.

Nice hike. Even if you skip the 0.2 mile scramble at the end, there are still many scenic viewpoints to enjoy.

Very busy trail but pretty view at the top! Would rate it easy until the last .2 mile.

Exciting trek this morning. Saw 2 mule deer along Brown's Ranch Road, only 0.5 mile from the visitors center. Stopped and watched the eagles fly around their nest in a saguaro just off Hackamore, then had to detour around 3 separate diamondbacks that decided to sunbathe stretched full length across the trail!

The last 0.2 miles were a scramble, but the view is oh so worth it! A nice short and sweet hike with the best view I’ve seen so far. The rest of the trail is pretty leisurely and relaxing. We had so much fun!

The scramble at the end is challenging, and the whole hike is fun. Gorgeous views!

This is likely a better run than a ride due to steep grade and rocky terrain.
