We did not stick to the loop trail but biked a couple trails in the park so this is a general opinion of this area. We are not aggressive bikers and we’re able to find trails easily for our skill levels. We had a great time and highly recommend this. We are not local and rented bikes through REI and they were awesome. Trails are well marked and maps are available at trail head that are accurate. We will be back
Easy two miles, Great if out of shape or with child to see saguaros and nice mountain views. Many mountain bikers and dogs. Soft sandy trail.
Great views and plenty of options for exploring. Can be crowded at times.
Very nice short morning stroll with nice repeated elevation change.
Did summit trail up to scenic overlook and then came around and did part of Cone Mtn loop to add some distance. Beautiful breeze during entire hike Love this hiking area because of so many hiking possibilities
Awesome reptilian wildlife along the trail. please respect their space!
This was a lovely little walk. I was visiting with my 65 yr old parents and 5 month baby so needed something easy but not boring and this was perfect! Lovely trail and great views.
Great easy trail with wonderful views of the summit. Have to watch out for mountain bikers as there seems to be very good trails here at this part of the preserve for them but plenty of room for everyone. The easy rating is perfect for this short loop hike.
Nice, scenic hike. Good loose gravel path. Some gradual ups and downs. Not tiring at all. Views all around. There are signs pointing to various trails but not this one. Recommend using the tracking in this app so you can keep on the proper route. Large parking area, restrooms are available at the trailhead.
