Saguaros beginning to bloom. Some challenge at the top. Pretty easy in its entirety. Very nice hike. Awesome trailhead facilities. Trail is well defined. A lot of hikers, mountain bikers. Recommended. I will do it again sometime.

HikingGreat!

Went up there this morning, loop around brown mt, couple of side trips and up to brown׳s summit spur 3,100’. A&a it was a 5.7m/735’g in a comfortable 2.5hrs. This is a great place and I’ll Be back next Monday for brown’s summit spur/cholla mt loop combo hike. forenteronly@aol.com

HikingGreat!

This is a great choice for a hike in the area! If you follow this trail precisely you come 0.1 miles from the summit of Browns Mountain. So there is significant elevation change. But there are many other less strenuous routes to take in this gigantic Preserve area.

Great trail, took the spur to the summit. A bit of a scramble there but not ridiculous. Beautiful views. Be aware that the elevation for this hike is much more than 100 feet, error on All Trails.

Cruise up and around Brown’s Mountain. The route provided doesn’t hit the summit, but you can add it on fairly easily. Much of the approach and all of the return trail are heavily used by mountain bikes, too... so beware! Great vistas pretty much the whole time.

HikingGreat!

Great hike - we took it to the summit and it had great views. A little scrambly to get to the tippy too but worth it - the summit had some moderate elevation gain which we liked! We arrived early on a Sunday and it the parking lot was very crowded - so get there early (especially on weekends). The start of the trail head was moderately packed - lots of bikers but they weren’t doing the summit trail and shared the path nicely. Even some horses at the beginning of the trail. Not a lot of other people which was nice
