Easy to hike with some really cool views . Took my kids and got some great pictures. This hike doesn’t take long.

This trail is as advertised. Paved the entire trail and very touristy but breathtaking views of the canyon for sure. There are rocks you can climb on for some better views as well. A good choice if you don’t have a lot of time but want to see the canyon.

Super easy. Crowded. Not much of a challenge, but beautiful!

4 stars of 5 only because of the crowds. This is an example of why we didn't go to Disneyworld ...... crowds of people...! But the views are good.....just don't let this be your only hike / view of the canyon.

Amazing views! Wish I hadn't chickened out halfway down, but the wind picked up and I discovered my fear of heights was greater than I realized. Safety first, so I headed back. Incredible views though. Wasn't busy at all at 5 pm just after the summer solstice.

Easy, paved, short; but worth the amazing views.

Easy, probably best at sunset. The best views of the canyon are in the Kaibab trail.

Easy out and back with great views. Not too crowded for the middle of May. Fairly level with a few steep but smooth grades. Definitely allow time for this hike.

Very nice trail that anyone can do. A few options along the way for the more adventurous. Very nice spot for pictures, even if you’re pressed for time

This trail was super easy with a slight slope going down. The only thing that would make this trail difficult is if you are afraid of heights because of the narrowing of the paved trail and the outlook. Love it. There is also an elevation medallion on top of one of the stacks of rock.

Great short hike located near the Lodge and Visitor Center on the North Rim. Amazing lookout at the end of the trail. Don't forget to climb atop the rocks at the end to see the Geographical Survey. Also there a few nice rock outcrops that you climb on that may be less crowded once people start showing up.

This quick and easy trail was right next to the visitors center at the North Rim. I just stopped through the North Rim on the way to Utah, not expecting to hike, and I was able to breeze through this short trail. This is a simple out and back with gradual elevation changes and many ledges to climb up and take pictures of the canyon from. One other note: I might not recommend this hike to someone with a fear or heights. The North Rim is already a high elevation, and this trail does take you right out into the canyon, and it does get a little narrow sometimes.

Great short trail from the lodge / visitor center area. Pretty simple walk and was well paved. At one point you see a lot of people climbing up on rocks for a different view but you can stay on the path too

Beautiful view, enjoy it on the way down cuz you pay for it on the way up. We thought to turn around at the 3 mile, decided to turn at the 1.5 mile, best choice! So worth it!!

Easy trail with spectacular canyon views...best to hike on sunny late afternoons when lengthening shadows can make these views even more impressive.

Although an easy trail, its just so easy to lose your footing due to numerous beautiful views. Good thing it's a short hike.
