Spectacular views of Battleship Mountain, Weever’s Needle and more. The drive to the trailhead is worth doing for the sights on the way even if you don’t hike an inch. Great challenge and worth every drop of sweat for the views!

Awesome hike. Well maintain trail. No markers on trail points. Good workout with up and down inclines.

Great Hike Today! Scenic overlooking Canyon Lake and other popular Top Hike Destinations Within Superstition Mountain Range. Nice incline workout both up and down the trail. Well maintained. Tapped in at 6.8 Miles with FitBit....NOT 4.8! Bathrooms and Restaurant on site with plenty of parking.

There are easily 4 different looking landscapes to hike through. It’s closer to 6 miles and is difficult for a moderate trail. It’s worth it though.

Very nice moderate trail with enough elevation changes up and down to keep it interesting. Actually liked this trail more than many of the others in the area due to the elevation changes. Fantastic views of Weaver's Needle, Battleship, Flatiron and Boulder Canyon at the top before the trail falls off into the canyon for the longer version of the trail. Great views of the lake for the first third of the trail. . Trail parking is across the road. Trail traffic was more than I had expected but not bad. Trail has a lot of loose rock so proper shoes are recommended. Did the trail in 3.5 hours with many photo stops and a picnic lunch at the top.

So in love. The scenery is awesome. Set up my hammock at the top to catch the sunset.

Friends took us to this hike as it is one of their favorites in this area. It did not disappoint. Trail was easy to follow and the views are spectacular on the entire hike. You can see Canyon Lake, Weavers Needle, Flat Iron, Four Peaks, Black Mesa, Battleship Mountain and LaBarge Creek from the trail.
