Love riding Coyote Canyon

What a beautiful hike! We started around 7am on a Friday, it was already about 80 degrees and the parking lot was still pretty empty. It’s pretty easy, level ground with some rocks poking up here and there so pick up your feet (more of a reminder to myself) Took our dog and she loved seeing a rabbit, tons of lizards, some bees and grasshoppers. Thankfully no snakes. There were a few mountain bikers, so just keep your ears open. Beautiful views and lots of different cacti and flowers to keep you entertained.

Nice, easy trail for enjoying the wildflowers & landscape. Not too busy during the week. Would be great for a novice bike ride.

Absolutely beautiful trail. Surrounded by huge boulders on all sides throughout the hike. Encountered my first rattlesnake laying across the trail. It was amazing. Not threatening then crawled on his way. Beautiful flowers. More people than I’d like but will go back to do the entire granite Mountain loop.

Beautiful trail. Still open and not very busy

W/stroller. Need 2 people to lift it over one rock area.

Nice trail, but had to give it a low review because we had a minor incident that required us to call 911. Good news, the Scottsdale fire department is super helpful and didn’t make us feel embarrassed at all.

Didn’t do whole loop...got too late. So we did Bootlegger Trail to Granite Trail and back. But this is what AZ is all about!

Arrived about 8. Saw very few others until after 930. Then both bikers and hikers became frequent. Usually, my wife's limit is about 3 miles, because of arthritis in the feet. Due to the mostly smooth and firm footing we saw today, she wants to try other trails from this trailhead, estimating she might do 6 or 7 miles in this area.

Pretty scenery on an easy trail. Riders on horseback, bikers, and hikers all friendly. Afternoon hike not overly busy. Mostly gravel with short section of rocks. Smooth elevations.

Well maintained with minimal challenges. There is one small rocky portion on the southeast part of the trail. Nice parking at the trailhead. Great landscape views with lots of Saguaros.

Beautiful trail. Moderately hiked by locals. Well kept. Well marked. Well informed. Flat mostly with little elevation gain. Trekking poles can be optional. Popping squats can be tricky on trail. October 2019. Very easy trail.

Took a wrong turn and ended up on Dove Valley-very sandy horse trail and had to walk quite a bit of it. 136th express was great.

Great trail on our bikes. A few hairy turns and rocky in places but nice views. Saw a couple of rattle snakes too!

Easy trail with scenic views and wildflower. I wouldn’t even call this moderate it is mostly flat up and down. No real climbing needed. Lots of mountain bikers. Great for trail running or easy hiking. Great scenery, cactus and Mountain View’s.

Absolutely loved this beautiful hike! Very nice sandy gravel path with gentle ups and downs. Easy-moderate level. Amazing granite formations. Took the side route to the scenic overlook. Worth it. There were lots of trail bikers but they were very polite and thanked us for stepping aside. Trailhead is under construction currently. Lots of parking. Two port-a-potties. Recommend this hike!

Nice hike easy parking even with the construction currently going on at the trail head. Trail is well mark. Quite nice view, the actual hike is interesting because of walking/hiking between rocks and vegetation. Really enjoyed this hike. If you have a older person in your group they will be able to manage this quite readily we will definitely be back

I liked it. Next time we will explore a little more. Well maintained but may be too many bikes when it's busier. Everyone was courteous tho.
