Beautiful wash saw deer. No waterfall so dry but lets pray for rain!

Easy hike... feels like a movies set because the scene changes so much and it’s so desolate. Really glad we did this hike! Found about a 12” deep pool and gentle fall cascading down the rocks. Still big enough to wade under! Afterword just sat and basked in the sun...

Warning —- lots of bee activity along the trail.

Really fun hike. Waterfall was incredible!

Multiple trails that seem to end up in the same place. But the trail through the swash is excellent. Waterfall is an unexpected surprise especially during a drought

This was one of my favorite trail, watch out for the bee though. Once you get to the waterfall, if you can climb to the top there is even more to see beyond.

Great hike. Make sure you make a sharp left and double back just below the flag if you want to see the waterfall. Gravel, rock and sand with a bit of climbing. Several other trails intersect but stick to the wash until the flag.

Trail markers would be nice. It's a long flat sandy hike through a wash and then you get to a small waterfall. Waterfall area is nice and you can climb further up past the waterfall.

Beautiful easy family friendly hike. The waterfall was running and we saw a huge tarantula! The trail is not marked at all. Follow the coordinates from the directions link to the trail head. Drop down into the wash and go left following the wash. You’ll see an old car after that it narrows and bends right. Once you come to the American flag turn left and continue to follow the wash. You don’t want to be in there on a day when risk of flash floods is high. Have fun,

We hiked this trail in September and found water but it was a trickle. So we tried to go further to see if there was more water but the bees and wasps were so bad we had to turn around.

I never found the falls as the trail has no markings that I could find, however I did find the Maricopa trail signs must no waterfall. The flies were bothersome and it's straight sun best part for me was the beginning of the hike. A letdown for me.

Great hike. A little steep and slippy at the start then it's through the wash. Wash is a bit of a workout with the deep sandy gravel and some places are climbing over bigger rocks. But the falls is gorgeous and worth the trip. The kiddos could play there all day!

This is a great hike. We've done it many times and it's especially rewarding when the falls are flowing like they were yesterday. As with all desert trails you should always be vigilant about snakes; however, the canyon portion of this trail is especially hazardous. It's a series of rocky steps with crevices abound. On our way back to the trailhead we came across a diamondback who was completely blocking the trail (posted a photo). The canyon walls were on both sides so we couldn't go around and could not scare it off. It was sitting on the bottom of a step and had we been going the other way would've stepped down directly on it. Luckily we noticed another trail closer to the falls that goes up a hill so we backtracked to it and hiked back out along the ridge. It was at least twice the distance but our only option. We'll certainly return to the falls but will take the ridge trail from now on.

Great little hike with a wonderful payoff of a small waterfall at the end. Kid friendly. Can get a little crowded on Sundays. Saw rattlesnakes mating as well as frogs. Tis the season apparently! :)
