Fun trail. Took the kids and turned onto Cat’s Peak for a little more challenging ride. Great for beginners to novices. Watch out for the cactus needles.

There were lots a cholla, in fact, there were more cholla than cacti. It crossed with a lot of other trails, such as Moon Rock trail and Noso trail. There was a part where I got lost then went back on the trail. It goes up and down a lot. It is a great trail for a workout.

Super chill hike, it’s nice and flat sandy at parts but over all easy hike. Would recommend for individuals with more limited mobility. Only thing I wasn’t super happy with was there were a lot of mountain bikers almost none of them stopped for hikers.

Went 1 mile in and turned around because I had young kids with me. The trails were clearly marked and easy for kids and pets. Would recommend.

This was a perfect trail to take my friend on for her first time mountain biking. We rode the trail twice. So much fun! Also saw a rattlesnake, which freaked us out a bit, but he was just crossing the path.

Check out Usery Mountain Regional Park. Diverse network of trails. Flat and easy or altitude gain and views. It has it. Spend a couple of hours or all day. Clean sites for a picnic after the hike. We do weekdays. Probably busy on weekends.

Beautiful mild desert hike. Stay on the trails or you’ll end up with Cactus in your shoes and legs as we learned the hard way.

Nice, mostly flat trail. Went on an overcast January day so the weather was perfect. Lots of Cholla and Saguaro. Enjoyed the trail because I didn’t have to constantly look down, we were able to take in and enjoy the scenery. Bikes and horses use trail as well

Gorgeous views, lots of cholla. Lots of bikers and family. A little long for kids but totally doable, depending on the child.

Easy fun trail. Starts at large parking lot in south end. Added Cats Peak to this loop. Trail is easy to hike. Paths are wide. Not overly busy. Several people riding horses in the area. Also Mountain Bike riders. Signage is good at intersections. Take your free map where you pay your $7 fee. A pleasant trail to get some miles hiking in.

First time on this trail. So green with all the cacti, bushes, & ground cover. Lots of Saguaro. Easy to follow and very scenic. Recommend for all ages. $7 fee.
