Not that well marked. Moderate to hard. You know you're at the top when you find the American flag. Great views from top make it worth it.
43 mins with a 45lbs pack on. I think it is harder then piestewa peak is easier the this one.
Great hike in the Cave Creek area. Short but sweet with elevation gain comparable to Piestawa, but much less crowded. Would definitely do this one again!
43 minutes up.
Glad I had my hiking pole for the way down.
Hard is accurate due to the climbing. However it is a short hike up and down!
Steep, "short" hike with an amazing view!
Challenging but the view is worth it!
We had a great time on the hike. Awesome sunrises and sunsets.
Absolutely one of my favorite trails! This is not for the hiker looking for an easy day of hiking, nor is it for the tourist in flip flops. The rocks are SHARP, the trail is narrow, and at times, hard to follow. It is a steep, albeit, short hike. The views are beautiful at the top!!
Lots of scree and is a moderate hike..... enjoyed it on a cool December afternoon.... hiking poles added to my enjoyment
Awesome view. Fairly demanding
great cardio workout
