Beautiful scenery, a true desert experience. However, I would not agree with the kid friendly. Yes, we completed and no one got hurt, but it was not exactly exciting for a 5 year old. Would be better after monsoon season when the water features aren't bone-dry, but on a hot day with little to no shade, it was a stretch.

Beautiful trail, most parts away from road and car noise, very few people (morning hike on a Wednesday). Easy terrain, partly shared with bicycles. We added the Baby Bell loop and considered climbing up Bell Rock
