We did this with a 9 and 12 year old (and a 73 old Grandma). We took the Little Horse trail to Llama and lopped to Bell Rock for a total of 3.71 miles. We started the hike around 5:15pm, not a lot of people, start of hike was not shaded. It’s rocky at parts so might be harder for smaller kids or grandmas;)

Not many people at all. For a Sunday morning we were happy about that. We did this loop but cut back across the Bail Trail to shorten it. Really nice terrain and the views! Lovely.

If you are biking this trail, take the loop counter clockwise for a more challenging end and easy beginning

Beautiful trail. We did Llama to Bail trail to head back to Courthouse Bluff parking. 3.6 miles. Was mostly level no extreme climbs. Seems like a mountain bike trail more so... we got there about 8:30 am and it got hot by 10:00am. May want to do early! Views are beautiful and trail is well marked. Wear good shoes some rocky spots

Great trail. The trailhead for this is Little House Trailhead. Surprisingly few people on it, especially early. If you want to tackle the hard part first, go Little Horse to Llama and save Bell Rock Pathway for the end. Road noise on the western side of the trail (Bell Rock Pathway), but not bad. Great views for the vast majority of the trail.

Beautiful views. Mostly exposed so best to have a hat for protection and/or go early. I suggest going counter clockwise on this trail if you don’t want to feel that incline too much at the end of your hike.

Gorgeous views at sunset. Our 4-year-old enjoyed it and walked most of the time. Incredible 70-degree and mostly sunny day in April. We went 2 miles out to Baby Bell and turned around since that's all the kiddo could handle; I'm sure the eastern half of the trail is even more beautiful since it's got the higher elevation points.

Awesome iconic views every where you look. Not as secluded as other trails because part of the trails is near the road. It’s quiet on most parts. Part of the trail faces the Courthouse butte, other parts is Cathedral Rock, & Bell Rock. Can’t find any other trails in Sedona with this treasure spots. It’s a must hike.

Trail was exactly as promised. Moderate, little elevation gain, very very pretty! A few more bikers and than was really comfortable.

I did this trail in the heat because it said it was only 5.9 miles = no, I clocked 12 when back at parking lot. I can't say I'll do that again but the scenery is great.
