Parked at Beardsley Trailhead, walked 4 miles, turned around and came back. The beginning is very green and pretty. At the road, take a right and walk on the shoulder a bit, then you’ll see a sign to continue on. Nice rolling hills, beautiful views of the hills in the distance. Was odd to hear the shooting range and also to see the road while walking, but we did not find either too distracting. Early January on a Sunday, only saw a couple hikers, 1 biker and a small horseback riding group.

North part past Scorpion Bay is pretty but lost the trail and no markers seen. Did see some Burros! Southern is easy and flat. I don't care for street traffic sounds but was a nice walk and not busy.

Amazing point to point hike and back gave us 16 miles starting at sunrise. Well maintained trail, toilets and water available x2 locations on trail. $7.00 fee. Enjoyed seeing and petting a wild Burrow along the trail. Lots of lizards, gophers, birds and a few bunnies. Great Workout and a Beautiful Hike :) 6-22-19

mixed trails after some good rain made this a gorgeous hike. Not hard at all, some easy inclines.

This is a very scienc trail. We left a vehicle at Cottonwood And started on Maricopa trail. Very few people on it and will do again. Lots of flowers and observed a huge wild donkey herd.

I found this route a bit boring for hiking. OK for MB although I would still rate it easy and not moderate. After about .65 miles, you have to walk a little bit on the road. I saw tons of butterflies, small frogs and lizards.
