Loved it. This side of the park was our favorite, saw more flowers / blooms and the cactus forest seemed to be more dense.

Scenic drivingGreat!

The graded dirt road would be passable by an average sedan. It had good views and was relaxing after a long day of hiking. We stopped at a nice picnic spot for lunch in the middle.

Scenic drivingGreat!

Located at the west side of Saguaro National Park. We drove through it, at certain areas it was dirt road. We hiked valley view overlook trail, an easy 0.8 mile round trip. Also stopped by at signal hill to see some petroglyphs from Hohokam period.

Nice short drive. Definitely more beautiful than the Loop Drive in Saguaro East

Worthwhile loop if you're in the area and want a chance to rest the legs. In terms of nature/cacti there's nothing you won't see out on the trails, but the Signal Hill picnic area has some cool petroglyphs you can easily access.

Great drive especially for those not wanting to get to far from the city. Found a few hiking spots on this road too. There aren't necessarily marked but some are legitimate trails. I found them using this app.

First to Review

A scenic drive through the Desert in the Saguaro National Park. It's graded, but it's winding and narrow.
