Nice climb and ridge walk to commanding views. The trailhead starts about 100 feet up the road from the parking lot. The trail becomes non-obvious after 50 feet or so as you climb up slick rock. Once up the slick rock, the trail is well defined the rest of the way. Great 290 degree views as you come to a saddle then walk a ridge to the terminus of the trail.

Easy trail to follow. Steady incline from the road but nothing to strenuous. The falls at the end were a bit underwhelming but awesome view of the valley below.

One of my favorite little hikes in the area. Beautiful changes in landscape as you go through elevation changes. Go from desert surrounded by cactus, through wildflowers (when in bloom), long grass that is beautiful as wind blows up higher reaching the waterfall. (when flowing). Only encounter 1 or 2 people the few times I went which makes for a nice, quiet hike to take in nature. Beautiful view overlooking the city. Bring a jacket as it can get chilly with the elevation change.

I did this is a companion hike with Soldier Trail I rated it three stars other than the elevation gain and getting to the top the views it's pretty snoresville.

Great views of the city. We were lucky enough to visit while the waterfall at the end was flowing.

Good hike. A little steep. We took our one year old puppy and she did very well on it.

Great quick hike. Challening but rewarding outbound trip with great views at the end and beautiful waterfall - when it’s flowing well. The back trip was easy and delightful.

Probably best ranked as moderate - very nice trail and worth it for the city views and end of trail!

I would not call this a difficult hike. I'd say that it is more moderate. I found the trail to be very easy to follow. Brush was cleared and there was never any difficulties determining which way to go. The scenery was beautiful. A great hike if you only have a couple of hours.

I would not call this trail difficult. The elevation gain is very spread out. However, in September the grasses were tall and the path was hard to see. I got lost once and spent 20 minutes scrambling up boulders. Fortunately, there was service, so GPS came to the rescue! It was decent exercise, but very hard to keep up heart rate on the way down. As mentioned, the trail is narrow and borders a cliff at times. It was a beautiful hike, lots of wildflowers blooming. The meadow at the top was gorgeous.

It is a good trail. Wonderful top section that overlooks the city. A must do for Mt Lemon visitors.

Beautiful hike, short but a nice climb. Would be absolutely breathtaking for an afternoon hike, especially as you hike the ridge line and have amazing views on either side!! The only downside was that the trail was very very poorly maintained. Very over grown and 90% of the time I could not see where I was placing my feet- definitely dangerous as at some points the trail borders a small cliff and one misstep could lead to a potentially bad fall. I also got lost a few times, so that was stressful as well. Hiked it early morning, mid September. Beautiful wild flowers and lots of green grass. Beautiful views!

A long climbing trail.Tasty wolfberries on this trail. At the end there's an occasionally flowing waterfall and a good spring wildflower spot for poppies and mariposas just before it. Even the rarely spotted Bigelow Ragged Rock Flower and nasty Wait-a-minute Bush. Trail is above the saguaros. Almost no shade.

Nice hike! Not too strenuous and nice view except for the cars. Big down side was the end of the trail. Halfway up a hill it says it's over. Not as satisfying as getting to the top of something. We went off trail to explore and made it to the top of a neighboring hill which was nice.
