This trail needs to be updated. The loop section is the same but the "stick" section of the lollipop is now further north making it 2.5 miles instead of 1.6. I thought I was lost at one point. Then I ended up taking the old trail back somehow and ran into massive construction. I forgot to record the trail but Alison Walters "PRO" recording 4 reviews below is accurate.

Great trail with lots of views. The trail head was moved around construction. It is a little longer, but the new trail adds to the scenery. TheAspen trees have all lost their leaves.

Great hike today, trees were in full color. For those that have hike this trail before, the trailhead has moved. They expanding parking lot 1 for the ski area and that has destroyed the old trail head. The new trail head starts with the Humphrey Peak trail and when you reach the ski lift the markers for the new Aspen loop trailhead is marked to the left. The new route takes you through another Aspen grove. A little longer but I think improved

Stunning views. Still some leaves left on trees to get the fall vibe. Would highly recommend it. It was 43 degrees so I would dress accordingly. Sun defiantly helped and coming back it really wasn’t that cold.

Just wow! Easy to do it is just the elevation that gets you if you are not used to that!

My sister and I had a great day today! Aspens were in there glory. The trail to the loop was wonderful. Spent a good hour meandering in the aspens. The loop portion was overall nice but more for the vistas.

This is a beautiful hike, especially at this time of year (mid-October). The aspens are all bright yellow and there’s a carpet of yellow leaves on the ground. The trail is not so much a loop as a lollipop, and most of the beautiful trees are before the looping part. Although it’s an easy trail, the 9,000 ft altitude adds a challenge! It’s very easy to follow and you won’t get lost.

Great views on this short, easy trail. Fall colors were spectacular.

Breathtaking, this is a pretty easy trail, however the “loop” doesn’t actually happen till your second glade of aspens after you cross the pasture. The first half of the trail you will be back tracking on your way back. Took us a long time because we kept stopping but a great trail for kids and dogs as it’s pretty flat and impossible to get lost.

Late start got there about 1pm Easy hike. Peaceful. I'm sure it's gorgeous in the fall when the aspens leaves are changing. Not very long. Pretty views. No wildlife just a bunch of kids being annoying and howling from a distant trail. Not crowded saw a family and a couple of mountain bikers.

amazing family hike perfect for small children. I love the crisp cool air so close to the snowbowl. one of my favorite places to go when it's a hot summer day in the valley. trailhead is kinda hard to find. it's right near the lower parking lot.

Beautiful views and relatively flat. Kind of a lot of rocks on the trail but would do again!

Beautiful in fall especially when the aspens are golden , San Francisco Peaks white capped with new snow against a brilliant blue sky!!!

Beautiful trail. Here on 10/25 and half of the Aspens still have yellow leaves. Great place to watch the sunset over the mountains. Some snow on the mountain peaks but not in the trail.

Timing was everything. Arrived a few weeks late for the autumn color change, but treated to a spectacular sunset that bathed the Aspen in fire.

Came to see the Fall leaves. A lot had fallen off the trees already, but still a nice little hike.

Great and easy trail (my 5 year old had no problem). The trail itself is pretty rocky and has random roots sticking up, so we had to watch our steps. We were a little early for the fall colors, bit it was still a beautiful hike. Someone has built a little shelter out of old branches which was fun to explore. Trail is very clearly marked throughout the loop.

This is a great, easy trail! It loops through the aspen trees and then out to some open space where you can see forever and back up through the aspens. We had 5 yr old with us and he had no problem on this short loop. Trail is marked clearly as well. Some rocks and roots on the trail but pretty smooth.
