Timing was everything. Arrived a few weeks late for the autumn color change, but treated to a spectacular sunset that bathed the Aspen in fire.

Came to see the Fall leaves. A lot had fallen off the trees already, but still a nice little hike.

Great and easy trail (my 5 year old had no problem). The trail itself is pretty rocky and has random roots sticking up, so we had to watch our steps. We were a little early for the fall colors, bit it was still a beautiful hike. Someone has built a little shelter out of old branches which was fun to explore. Trail is very clearly marked throughout the loop.

This is a great, easy trail! It loops through the aspen trees and then out to some open space where you can see forever and back up through the aspens. We had 5 yr old with us and he had no problem on this short loop. Trail is marked clearly as well. Some rocks and roots on the trail but pretty smooth.
