Alamo Springs hike is located near Tortolita, Arizona. The trail is great for hiking and normally takes a half day. Great hike early in the morning before it gets too hot. Be sure to check out the old line shack and look down the well. What's up with the red cart there, though?

Love this hike!

Great, beautiful hike! We got lucky with cloud coverage in the morning so the heat wasn't that bad. I'm glad we followed the Alamo Springs trail first rather than following Wild Burro first. Wild Burro was just the floor of the canyon where Alamo Springs was a beautiful, rocky hike. A swarm of bugs kept following us which was a nuisance but this was very enjoyable!
