We wanted to do this trail but before we could get out of the vehicle a drugged up man approached us telling us to get off the land. He told us it was private property and of course we left. We were very concerned for our safety!

I was interested in doing some hiking in this area, and I discovered a series of switchbacks on Google earth. The switchbacks are well laid out with a constant grade up to the peak. To reach the trailhead you go NE 2.3 kilometers from the Casa Grande Rd turn-off from AZ route 187. It is a short 30 minute hike to the top.
