Relatively easy. Nothing too strenuous. Hand tram is cool but be careful as there has been accidents - including a fatality.

The hand tram is really cool. Terrifying, but cool. Sometimes very busy and people rush you across and you aren’t able to do the work yourself because others are hurrying you and pulling you across as fast as they can. The team had a grated floor that was really hard on my dogs.

Easy trail- breathtaking! The forest is covered in beautiful moss, varying in all shades of green. The air is so refreshing!! The hand tram is really neat and the view is gnarly. The gorge is so powerful!!

Easy hike with two high-reward destinations closely accessible. The hand trolley is awesome, and the river gorge is impressive and beautiful. Access both from the road on one side or Alyeska Resort.

Go early in the morning. No crowds, no line at the tram. And you might actually hear birds ands see some wildlife before the noisy people traffic picks up.

Nicely maintained trail, with a cool lil hand tram. Bring bug spray in the summer, it was quite swampy and the mosquitos were out.

Took the kids to the hand tram. Great easy hike.

Very pretty short hike. We skipped the hand tram due to about 30 min wait on both sides (Thursday afternoon).
