Easy hike with two high-reward destinations closely accessible. The hand trolley is awesome, and the river gorge is impressive and beautiful. Access both from the road on one side or Alyeska Resort.

loved crossing the gorge on the hand tram

Go early in the morning. No crowds, no line at the tram. And you might actually hear birds ands see some wildlife before the noisy people traffic picks up.

Nicely maintained trail, with a cool lil hand tram. Bring bug spray in the summer, it was quite swampy and the mosquitos were out.

Took the kids to the hand tram. Great easy hike.

Very pretty short hike. We skipped the hand tram due to about 30 min wait on both sides (Thursday afternoon).

Thos place was beautiful- foliage is like a rain forest. was easy for kids. we went in May and it wasnt so stroller/wagon friendly at the time, but still doable. The hand tram was super cool.
