Really great family adventure! The best city view is a little past earthquake park about 4ish miles from 5th Ave in downtown Anchorage.

A nice city trail. There were plenty of mosquitoes! Nice views and lots of educational signs to read and learn. We parked at Earthquake Park.

Definitely more hilly than I was expecting but it was a great ride! Woronzof Point Park was my favorite and we got to watch a few planes fly in above us to land. We also got super lucky and saw a moose near the earthquake park

I rented a bike from in town and immediately set out on the trail - it was great! Beautiful, paved route along the coast. Some of the route is along the water, most is through the trees nearby. Can become quite exhausting on the south half in the hills, prepare yourself! Routes beneath the approach end of Anchorage Int'l runways.

Biked the trail to Kincaid Park and back on a rented mountain bike. Stopped for a bit in Kincaid to do some mountain biking. I highly recommend Kincaid park for any adventurist. It was my first time mountain biking and I had an amazing time. Didn't see any wildlife but amazing views throughout.

Did this on rented bikes with my son. Not a difficult trail and paved the whole way. Did not see any wildlife apart from the occasional beetle. But many of the other sights were neat for a first time visit to Alaska. The foliage is beautiful, and there are good views of the bay. Trail goes right by the airport and you can take a nice break in that area and watch sea planes come and go, as well as the big jets right over head. Nice way to spend an afternoon if you're new to Anchorage.

This is an easy family friendly walk or bike. There are beautiful views along the walk and tons of moose (just be aware of the times of the year moose are more aggressive). We didn't do the whole thing only a section and saw 6 moose so its a pretty good bet you'll see something.

Great trail for cycling! You'll almost definitely encounter moose - and probably not just one but several. The trail also provides scenic views of Anchorage, the surrounding mountain ranges and Knik Arm. And if you are into plane spotting: Point Woronzof at milepost 4 is right by Anchorage Airport's runway and a good place to watch the jets land and take off.

Awesome trail! Not too strenuous with magnanimous opportunities to see moose and the beauty of anchorages coast. I'm my experience, a moose dashed out of the woods within 5 yards away after earthquake park, exciting and scary , but I lived to write this review. Wouldn't trade that memory for anything in the world!
