Beautiful quick jaunt for any day! It can get a little swampy and mushy in the spring, but otherwise awesome!

Great quick hike/running trail. Very well marked you would have to try hard to get lost. For the loop did interior trail in and costal back.. few trips down the the many beaches along the way. 6 miles total. Saw no one.

You have 2 options so you can make it a loop rather than out and back - we went the intercoastal route out there which brings you by a beautiful lake (couple huge eagles hangin out right there). Make sure you actually go all the way out to the end, it’s not on the map of the trail, just an arrow pointing to it. It’s a beautiful hike! Awesome views on the coastal route back to white sands
