So many blueberries on this trail, especially on the right hand side of the loop.

Absolutely beautiful, I will say you will notice a fork in the trail on the way to the top point of the hilltop and if you go left you get the view but you will double back to hit the right side of the trail fork to go and finish the hike. It wasn’t too muddy, mosquitos aren’t bad if you keep moving and have bug spray, and we were testing out some camping gear and stay out a while and got some phenomenal photos at midnight that were stunning. The sign says “3 mile loop” ya even not going to the hilltop that’s in no way a 3 mile loop lol 4-5 pending if you go exploring higher side and potentially more pending if you go to the peaks and just enjoy the adventure. Again it was beautiful and fun.

Great hike. Pretty gradual uphill, climb rocks at the summit. Lots of mosquitoes, bug spray is a must. Can see lots of surrounding hills and valleys from the top. *not near Salcha tho. Past Chatnika on the Steese hwy.

A really good beginner trail if you actually want a challenge. It gets a bit steep at the summit but other than that that it is completely manageable by anyone of any fitness level. It’s better to come here early in the day so that you can be hiking with the noon sun keeping the bugs away.

Great hike and very dog friendly. You will encounter a gradual climb as you get to the top. Great views. Prepare for lots of mosquitos if season deems so.

Nice and easy trail! Moderate traffic and very pet friendly. Last mile is a little rocky and steep. Worth the view
