Silver Fern, Blueberry Hallow, and Powerline Trail Loop is a 4.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Anchorage, Alaska that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, and cross country skiing. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Chugach State Park charges a $5 daily parking fee. You can also purchase an annual parking pass for $60. This loop consists of Blueberry Hallow, White Spruce, Powerline, Hemlock Knob, Silver Fern Trails. Wildlife frequent these trails, especially moose
3 stars only because trail so poorly marked. Trail crosses many others without clear indications which way to go for this loop trail. Many unmarked/not so obvious offshoots that are actually the correct trail! Beautiful area, however strongly recommend NOT attempting this loop route without GPS as you will end completely lost and heading for miles on the wrong trail/wrong direction. Rated as moderate, overall pretty easy in my estimation.
