Great hike! Very steep and rocky especially at the end. Totally worth the effort.

Steep but even shelves here and there to rest. Kid/pack friendly until you reach the last shelf before the peak. Beautiful views!!

Great trail conditions, some muddy areas the way up but easily avoidable. Trail is clear from overgrowth. Last climb to exposed top is mildly sketchy but quite doable; high winds but incredible views. My favorite trail in the area.

Don’t forget to download the map before you turn onto Anton Larsen Road. I did and so only half of my hike is actually recorded. You get signal again at the top.

Steady incline with some flatter spots to rest. No trees on the top half of the trail. Amazing views. Last 1/4 mi is a very steep rock climb to get to the top, will require hands and feet but feasible with a dog. Would definitely not recommend going to the very top with children but the trail does allow space to feel comfortable taking children who can hike themselves I just wouldn’t suggest going to the very top. There were some little flowing streams (June) for the dog to play and drink some water. There were also some muddy spots. Almost 5mi total, took us about 5 hours to complete with several stops & hanging out at the top for a while.

It is a rewarding hike with an amazing view of God’s creation at the top but definitely a difficult hike with some steep incline at the beginning. Be careful on the last quarter of it because there is a little bit of rock climbing/scrambling you have to do to get to the tippy top but it’s definitely doable.

I loved this hike! Trail was in decent condition. Completed in about 2hours total, and maybe that pace made the hike more hard than moderate. There is a very short scramble as you summit and is steep for the last 1/4 mile. I can’t decide if I would’ve wanted poles since it was so steep coming down. Exceptional views and beautiful fall tundra all along the way. While I was surprised by the steepness at the end, it was totally worth the small challenge.

Stomped up the hill after hours sitting in an aeroplane. Blew ass a bit and wished we'd brought Bear Spray, but the view made everything worthwhile.

Went a couple days ago, quick out and back. Some spots are getting overgrown. Great views though!

The last quarter mile is a bit steep, probably not a great one for kids. Also, you can go down the opposite side, it will drop you off at the golf course. However you will be bush whacking your way through salmon berry bushes and shoulder high grass.

This is a steep climb at the end, the way down is more difficult than the way up because of the slipping rocks. But this is a food challenge, you feel great when you reach the top !
