I'm not in love with snow machines going by on the trail. One that passed left a scent of Gasoline for 5 minutes after they went by. So I took a trail out to a small body of water and it was very peaceful off the trail.
Overall it was a gorgeous walk with a little elevation gain, we followed the “summer trail” instead of the snow machine trail. Worth hiking up to a beautiful view of the inlet! Make sure to bring some bear spray as we saw a lot of bear scat. Dog friendly with a little stream to sip out of :)
Great spot. Don’t tell others!! Beautiful and different types of scenery. Moose too.
ok hike would have much preferred to continue but didn't have the time
