Powerline Trail is a 3.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Fairbanks, Alaska that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and birding and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Fun trail. Relatively flat. Many phasants, squirrels and ptarmagens. It goes by the university grounds and even behind some private houses. You will end up passing two lakes, so grab a fishing pole of you're interested.
