Nabesna Road is a 43.3 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Gakona, Alaska that offers scenic views and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for scenic driving and is best used from May until October.
This is a spectacular drive with many trails off the side abd at the end. If your vehicle has low clearance, be aware that you will have to drive through several creeks that run across the road surface, If the rail is heavy, you can get stuck on the wrong side. After 15 september, many facilities close down and, due to the remoteness, there are few facilities - so plan ahead.
