This trail basically mirrors Rendezvous Peak Trail, but this trail takes a left towards the less used trail at the saddle. The trail is quite easy for most people and there is a small spring fed creek for most of the way up the valley. If you want a good 360 view of Anchorage, Eagle River, and the South Fork Valley this trail will allow that without a lot of effort. You also get a good view of the Site Summit where they used to hold Nike Missiles years ago. As a side note -Do not trespass on the military instillation which borders the trail near the trail head, you could be fined if you are caught.

Good hike, nothing technical. Would be better if the suns out. Today it was cloudy and nothing to see but clouds. The café at the trail head was open which is nice for after a hike. Dogs welcome. There are several trails leading up the valley from but all lead up, so pick one and follow it. From the top of the saddle to the summit, its a little steep but nothing to crazy. Hiking in the clouds made it seem like several false summits. But after about 20-25 minutes I finally made it. Hopefully next time the suns out.

Good hike, the trail to the base of the mtn is groomed. Ski's would have been a lot of fun and super easy coming down.

Really enjoyed how peaceful this hike is. Its a quiet peak compared to the busy Mt. Rendezous trail if you take the right at the saddle. Its a nice place to get a good view of the South Fork valley or Anchorage.
