Mendenhall Wetlands Refuge Trail is a 2.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Juneau, Alaska that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Great trail for birdwatching. Fantastic views of North Douglas Island and the Mendenhall Glacier. Wheelchair accessible and kid/dog-friendly. What a great way to take advantage of the long Alaska summer days.
