Mendenhall Peninsula Trail is a 2.2 mile out and back trail located near Juneau, Alaska that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from May until August. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

OK for a short hike (so many other more beautiful trails). Lightly trafficked; we lost the trail a few times; needs more ribbons (but you really can't get lost with the water always visible). Be sure to do both Glacier Trails!

Great trail to walk your dogs where they can run free. Much less congested than the airport dike trail.
