Kincaid Park: Lekisch Trail is a 5.6 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Anchorage, Alaska that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
Kincaid Park has about 60 km of interwoven trails, with almost 20km being lit up at night. The Lekisch Trail, named after a promising high school athlete who died in Chugach State Park in 1987, is one of the trails. There are some ups and downs on the trail, so it's probably good for someone slightly above beginner level. The trail is for skiing only during the winter. After ski season, it's open to bikes and walkers. Dogs on leash are allowed outside of ski season also. Nice views of Cook Inlet too.
