Good trail with some pleasant views. Was totally empty when I hiked it. Bear was sited recently and I spotted some bear tracks.

Generally easy. Some hilly parts. Did it in xtra tuffs just in case. They weren’t necessary in the end.

Good easy local trail with great woodsy, forest scenery and occasional water. Not too buggy when I went end of August midday. Good breeze. Definitely need to be bear aware. Saw tracks along the trail and 1 bear in the brush.

The first section of this hike is by the nature center, and will take you out to a stunning lake. If you carry on, you’ll be in the thicker woods, and in the mosquito ambush territory. People, take heed, spray yourself down with whatever it takes. These bitches will suck you dry! Spotted were lots of birds, but no large animals. There was some dry moose poo on the trail though, so they’re out there. I definitely recommend this for a quick limited elevation hike with some nice views, but this isn’t the most scenic thing Alaska has to offer.

Beautiful hike/walk. Easy and clearly marked trails. We saw a bald eagle at the lake, moose tracks and bear scat.

Great place to ski. Trails are wide and well maintained. The lake trail was awesome. If you come make sure to visit the nature center.

Did the Centennial trail during mid afternoon. Very easy to follow trail. Beautiful, undisturbed. Plenty of birds & tranquility, didn't see much beyond that. Still, go with a group, lots of "brown/black bear & moose live here" guidance posted.

Very nice trail with great views and access to the river and you can stay in town but didn't feel like it. First time but I'll definitely be going back.

Nice trail. Didn't get to dive too deep into the whole loop, but what part we did was nice!

I remember when this trail was made. It was trail we hiked many times when my kids were learning to walk. Keen Eye is well marked and has an informative guide booklet to use during your walk.

I love these trails for snowshoeing in the winter, close to home and enough hills to give a good workout. Trails are kept in good condition.
