Nice trail, fairly easy. Some mud and puddles but overall, well maintained trail...mosquitoes are killer, so, pack a good repellent. Trail is pooch friendly and after hiking 4.5 miles, you’ll be rewarded with an amazing view of the falls!!!

Fabulous hike with beautiful weather! Trail to the falls is part of Resurrection Pass—that’s the trailhead you start from just outside of Cooper Landing. A little over four miles in there’s a little post with a tent emblem that will point you in the direction toward a great view of the falls. A little muddy in parts, but not hard to navigate through. Bring some bug spray if you want to stop at the falls. Definitely one of my favorite hikes so far this year!

Pretty easy hike, only took us about 5 hours to complete (including the couple times we stopped). Kept walking through webs on the way up though, was only mildly annoying! The waterfall was gorgeous! Parts were muddy, but we found a way to walk around it for the most part. Only slightly overgrown in some parts, so think about long sleeves! Also a few trees have fallen in the path as well but were mostly easy to get around/over.

I hiked this trail with my children on Mother's Day this year for the first time, it was a beautiful hike and a good trail, a little muddy in spots but not bad. The falls were beautiful! Afterwards we ate at the Two Brothers Roadhouse in Cooper Landing, and we shared the brisket nachos and the cubano sandwich and they were both delicious, I would definitely eat there again and try more on their menu.

Trail is Easy/Moderate 05/31/19 the Falls is so worth this hike, took me 3 and half hours and I went 8.8 miles according to my fitbit.I went past the falls to other side of bridge and ate lunch there. Signs of bear sightings, on 05.07.19. I seen none just some recent scat on trail, I had bells on the dogs and bear spray in reaching distance. This is a good hike to start off the summer. Flowers were coming out and it was nice to go in and out of trees for shade it was only 59 today but that sun sure made it feel 70 in areas. Read all the reviews it helps, I heard the falls and turned off before the sign that says camping 1/4 mile and had some great more views of it. Have fun I sure did and might be back with a friend soon. Little mud but safe with low rise hiking shoes.

Great hike! There were a couple of fresh rock slides, but Beautiful all around. Also there were a couple of Moose Carcasses on the Trail so if you're hiking it in May after the 10th! Watch out for Bears

don't follow the path on this app...just follow the resurrection pass trail. when you see the marker on the left indicating the first camp site in 1/4 mile, the falls will be right there to the right. This is about 8.5 miles total

My gf and I did this hike mid February by recommendation of a local and it was very cool. The trail/hike itself is nothing special, not a ton of spectacular views, mostly just trudging through woods. The falls themselves are awesome and make for a great climax (and proposal spot), however they are not well marked so in the winter we completely missed the turnoff and took a long detour. The key is when you start to hear rushing water, there will be a small post with a tent symbol and arrow on it. Right at this post, there is a difficult to see path to the right towards the valley and this will take you to the vantage point. Would highly recommend! Ps if you hit the big wooden bridge you’ve gone too far and missed the turn off

The falls are beautiful. You can also access the falls with a shorter distance if taken from a trail head off of Slaughter Ridge Rd.

The waterfall makes the hike 5 stars. It’s amazing. The trail to it is a 3 star; not a lot of great views, a lot of trees (which I love but for Alaska you want the beautiful views right!?) very leisurely hike to the waterfall. Some mud but not bad.

This is only a short section of the resurrection pass trail. It makes for a perfect day trip, but if you're on a bike you can do it in a couple of hours. Fun ride, but if you have the time go all the way to Juneau lake.
