I wouldn’t consider this trail “hard” as indicated. It’s a slow and steady climb that’s not arduous at all. I’d much rather do this trail in the winter than late spring/summer/fall because of all the boards you have to walk on to stay off the marsh. Boards will be wet so consider bringing traction of some sort. Great for snowshoes after a fresh snowfall or skis. The trail opens up to meadows a number of times leading to decent views. Make the loop to/from Auke Nu/Spaulding Meadows to make it a little longer.
