a perfect hike. stunning views on a clear day. a cold late October hike. A few notes: the trail given on AllTrails is misleading. I would not take the super steep version. it's a slog and not sure it's really that much faster. The AllTrails version leaves out the moderate path. I recorded it but couldn't figure out how to upload it. Also, the trail goes on much further than mapped or described and continues up the mountain. It would be great to know of that option and how long it takes...

My sister and I did that hike two days ago and it was georgeous! The steep climb on the last stretch was worth the beautiful view at the top! My favorite hike so far would be this one :)

Rigorous uphill hike along a new trail with a lot of fallen trees. The trail is short, more developed at the lower elevations & less developed at the steep uphill.

Great trail can be very steep in spots, not recommended for small children. Great views of the Turnagain arm to the east, the city of Hope to the south and Anchorage to the north. Lots of wildlife to be seen as well.
