Awesome trail and it definitely a workout. Didn’t get to go all the way up. Made it about 450,500 yards from the top. Got a bit to rocky and steep with the doggo. Definitely worth the effort though. Bring lots of water, there’s no shade so if it isn’t windy it gonna be hottttt

Best hike I’ve ever done! The trailhead wasn’t obvious to find but once we found it the trail was clear, only a little mud. Hard hike but worth the view!

Very hard hike. Couldn’t find where the trail starts because it says private property. Anyways it was super awesome.

Trail in pretty good condition. 2 small snow patches and a little bit of mud. No spikes/yak tracks needed. Apple Watch calculated 4.33 round trip with just over 2,700 elevation gain. Windy on the ridge with gorgeous views of the mountain.

The trail is in great shape. There are a couple very small patches you need to cross and very minimal mud. Not much wind until the very top. The views are beautiful.

Great trail but steep all of the way up, so a great workout! Some snow patches here and there but really no need for spikes as you can make your way around most of the patches and people prior have broken it down a bit. Would definitely recommend trekking poles though!

No one else on the trail. Minimal post holing. A few patches of snow made it great for butt sliding on the way down. No need fort spikes or gaiters. Very windy today. Beautiful views.

Great views at the top! The hike is not technical or difficult per se, but it is vertical pretty much the entire way. But you are rewarded with incredible views at the top. Worth it!

The top is steep and rocky, but so worth the hike! You can even see Eagle and Symphony Lakes during the hike. Decent amount of snow and mud. Lot of postholing on the way back down in the snow. Overall a really great hike!

First half mile of trail was rough. Post holing with snowshoes on. After that, smooth sailing to the top. Best views in Eagle River
