I really liked this hike. The only issue is getting to the lakes. Basically you have to maneuver across piles of boulders. With a dog that's though but the view once you get there is beautiful. It's 11 miles round trip so definitely pack a light lunch or snack. The wind can get pretty cold back by the lakes.

A great day hike (or overnight) if you aren't feeling like tackling a lot of elevation. Fun little bolder field along the way with two breathtaking lakes after the rock scramble. Lots of opportunities for further exploration if you want to overnight.

Beautiful glacial lake at the end of the trail. Awesome views up the valley as you hike. Moderate traffic and fairly flat makes for an easy out and back.
