Very nice walk, down to the stony beach. Don’t go if it rains or rained a lot. We could see the big mud holes, which most of them dried thankfully, it’s steep in some spots. As people said before don’t follow the google maps route.

The “directions” that all trails has do not take you to the right place! Instead, look at the trail map. There is a gravel road almost directly across from the Diamond Ridge Road - take that instead. The hike itself is a really quick, relatively easy trail that ends with an awesome rocky beach and views of the cliffs/ocean. We knocked it out in under an hour, including about 20 min hanging on the beach.

Nice trail down to the beach. A few muddy spots., but easily navigable on a sunny day. The coordinates for this trail are wrong if you go by the GPS listed, so please find the trailhead at 61°48'14.1"N 149°12'10.7"W There is parking near the trailhead, but the road there is full of potholes. Beware if you don’t have a truck.

Highly recommend! It was a bit muddy in spots. I would wait a bit after any rain to hike this. There are a few narrow areas and places that have previously been washed out so wear some decent shoes or hiking sandals so you don’t slide. The beach at the bottom is gorgeous and worth the steep climb back up. This is suitable for kids as well - my 4 year old nephew had a blast. Be prepared for the bumpy road to the trail head, there are a few potholes that could surprise you - there is a sign that says “use 4 wheel drive beyond this point.” Excellent trail and beach. Expect a lot of people in July.

This was a fantastic trail! We are relatively new to hiking trails and we had no problems following the trail to the beach & back. Several places were muddy & there were guide ropes on a few of the steeper narrow spots. We had a lot of fun doing this hike. We were super slow hiking back up (heart condition), and we still were down & back in a little over two hours.

I would highly recommend this trail; at around noon in mid June, it was mostly shaded and well kept, opened up onto the beach with beautiful views!

A few washed out spots but the beach at the end is definitely worth the short hike. When we got there we were one of a few there so it almost felt private!

Don't follow the directions from this app. It lead me to a residential area. I googled the directions and thats how I got there. Hike wasn't too bad, pretty muddy but that's to be expected. It ended on the beautiful beach!
