The trail begins from two possible locations on Douglas, but connects up quite quickly on the Treadwell Dike Trail. You then continue up on a trail heading uphill towards the mountains until it becomes boardwalks. Overall the trail is quite easy and would be fun for many people.

Up the whole way, I went with still a foot or two of snow on the ground. Kind of more tiring then it had to be, to cabin is awesome and I really enjoyed my experience. Didn't see any wildlife.
