Cabin is fabulous! Two bunks. Ridgeline traverse is a great side adventure but has some difficult sections to navigate.

Great conditions! Mud was hard and the one creek crossing was easy.

Great trail! You have to cross the creek a few times throughout the route up to the cabin, but the crossings are easy enough. Once you get to the cabin you can hike up and around the ridgeline of the surrounding peaks for some spectacular views! Will definitely be coming back here!

Backpacking

Beautiful hike out to the cabin, which we stayed at for 5 days. Has amazing views and is quite peaceful and serene. Once at the cabin the trail ends and the true hiking begins. We went at the end of May and I look forward to returning.

East, not much fun on a cloudy day as there is no view.

First to Review

I did a trail maintenance on this trail. And when it is clear sky's it is a nice view of the mountains. It is flat in the beginning and then leads gradually up the creek. Can get muddy in some parts. But the cabin at the end is nice and a good place to spend a night.
