HikingGreat!Snow

Did it with dogs. Got the heart rate going on the way up. Took about 2 hours up and one hour down. Used ice grippers on our boots. There was a lot of fresh snow, but the trail was easy to follow. However, we got within 100 yards of the top picnic table and the trail was blown over. We were waist deep. After a few feet of crawling, we turned around. Note to those who like to butt slide down- wear snow pants without pockets. Layers were smart-I was hot on the way up.

I'm sure with different shoes and perhaps some trekking poles the experience would have been more enjoyable. I did however enjoy the views at the top!

Didn't get all the way to the top since I went out too late. Definitely need poles to get down, as other reviewers said. I can see how it might be more picturesque earlier in the season, but it was still nice especially considering its proximity.

HikingGreat!

Hiked Blueberry Knoll 8-9-2020. Really enjoyed this one. The weather was perfect and the trail was dry and in good shape. I would not want to do this one when the trail is wet. I only brought one of my trekking poles. On the way down I really wished I had both of them for the portion above the picnic table. 2 hr 20 min RT

Beautiful trail. Steep in spots, but not that long. I think my watch said it was closer to 3 miles than 4 miles out and back. Did it with our dog and 11 year-old.

It gets pretty steep at the second picnic table. Was a fun hike, great workout. It took about 2 hours and 10 minutes from car to car, with my dog. Toward the summit, there is a small trail to the left that leads to a perfect water spring. Great views at the top.

Trail was nice and dry on the way up. Packed up my toddler (21lbs) on my back. Was a little challenging to get up in some spots just because how unbalanced child packs make you, but still very do-able! Started storming at the top. So, the way down was very muddy and slick! If child carrying use with caution on rainy days. Great hike!

Love this hike! It is a good hike for people wanting something harder than the Butte but easier than Lazy. View at the top is gorgeous!

This is a great trail! Super easy in the beginning and then it gets steeper as you go! The view at the top is totally worth it! Took me a little over an hour and a half, up and down without stopping.

Super fun! A little muddy but it had just rained, if you cant hike the Butte this trial is not for you! I do think the mileage is wrong, I tracked it and it was about 4 miles total and took us a good 3 hours (we stopped at the top and ate)

Perfect trail for a semi-quick intense hill workout. It’s a relatively quick elevation gain but towards the end it opens up to amazing views of the valley and the surrounding mountain ranges. Worth every second!

Beautiful afternoon hike, easy trail for the most part. Towards the end it gets steeper but the views are beautiful at the top. There’s a picnic bench and it the trail wasn’t overcrowded. Brings plenty of water for the super hot days. Minimal snow at the very top, it’s pretty much melted off. I love this short hike! We did it in about two hours.

First time doing Blueberry Knoll (BBK) and what a great trail!! It’s harder than the Butte but not quite the difficulty of Lazy Mountain; just a great all around hike. Did it in early May so a little bit of knee deep snow towards the top that covered the trail. Beautiful views all the way up. I would assume it could get pretty overgrown later in summer. Have to watch your step as there are a lot of tree branches sticking out. This can easily become a great regular hike that is less populated than the Butte.
