We turned right at Bishop's Beach and walked for miles. This is a wonderful sandy beach at low tide with sand that stretches for miles. There are lots of tide pools, and interesting things to see. There is a tall bluff on the land side and views across Kachemak Bay to the kenai mountains.

Nice little walk from the Ocean Islands visitor center down to the beach and along the boardwalk. Lots of birds in the slough. Lots of trucks and loose dogs on the beach.
