Great trail! Very easy to get to off of I-10/Hwy. 98. in Daphne. Dog friendly trail that features a beach area/fishing pier. A lot of folks were out and about with their kiddos and pups! We did see an alligator but only saw his head - couldn't tell how big his body was. We thoroughly enjoyed our time out on this trail!

A very nice trail for family or someone starting out hiking. Would rate this t easy to moderate. Most of it is easy. There is one off the path trail with hills. For the most part well maintained. Restrooms can be found at the start and along the main road. Found an old cemetery there dated back as far as the 1700’s.

Nice flat very easy hike. The ranger was very helpful. The map however needs to be updated. There are a lot of paths to see that aren't on the map. Overall very nice family hike day.

It’s a nice little trail. Great view of downtown when on the bay. Public area, but very low traffic. Cute little pier and beach area, great spot for a picnic and/or afternoon date walk. Also, there’s an Eagle Scout trail that roughs it a little more, but it connects to the main gravel trail again.

First time here and loved it. The pier has been repaired and the trail is well maintained. I will definitely be back.

This is a great, free trail for anyone. It leads down to the beach and has plenty of side trails for those who wish to explore. Plus, it's dog friendly. They are currently repairing some boardwalks and piers, so some places are cut off from the public. I will return to this trail. Great activity for the day.

The main trail is very easy and large enough for city workers to drive their trucks in for maintenance. Once u are down the trail a little ways, you definitely do not feel like you are in the middle of the city. There are a few side trails that take you to an old, beautiful, really huge live oak. another trail takes you to an old cemetary the boy scouts have cleaned up and marked the graves. Another trail is a pretty nature walk through the woods. These side trails are more narrow then the main trail. once you get to the Bay, the pier on the beach is all busted and you cannot walk out on it but it is definitely beautifuland secluded and worth the walk. I took my dog on the trail with me and he loved it.

Great little trail for kids and pets. There is a good small nature trail right off the cemetery that not many people realize is there. It will take you back to the main pavilion by old 98 or vice versa. Good walking trail.

Beautiful little trail in the Daphne/Fairhope area. It supposed to be a multi terrain trail of about 23 miles. We only did a small portion that lead to a beach area. There was a historic graveyard shortly after starting the trail. Their were Champion Trees everywhere with little plaques to identify them by. It was an easy trail. There was a section that was covered in poison ivy, BUT it was identified wit ha little sign that let the hiker/walker know this. A little further down this trail was a magnificent oak tree. It was a champion tree but I don't recall what type it was. There was a board walk built around it. There were several picnic areas to stop at to have a bit to eat. The trail was well maintained and several other families were on it as well.
