The trail is easily followed and has some pretty views of the Tennessee River with the main Highlight being the old Railroad bridge that extends halfway across the river. BRING A CAMERA!

The trail is easily found although to walk the whole trail which is the preferred way to do it one should start near the paved nature trails west of wilson dam. There is a sign pointing toward an area known as "nature trails". From the parking lot complete with facilities simply head down the paved trail.

South Port trail is a primitive moderate trail. It follows a dry creek bed with sandstone stairs , old water pipes and bricks in a few locations. Remembrance of the ghost town of South Port.

Good trails but the bridge is the best part in my opinion. The wildflowers were blooming on the trails and the river is always nice to look at

Good variety of trails. You could spend all day exploring. The footbridge across the Tennessee River is worth the trip.

This trail was embarrassing for the city of Florence and the state of Alabama as a whole. The trails were fine, but they were absolutely FILLED with trash.. everywhere you look there are beer bottles and cans.. Florence: clean your damn trails..
