Really fun trail. It’s very shady, but don’t let that fool you into thinking you won’t get hot! The hills are steep, and some sections are a little technical and require you to think through it. We went after some rain so it was a little muddy, and the rocks were a bit slippery. I took my 7 year old and 5 year old and they had a blast. Lots of wildlife too. We completed the trail in about an hour and 15 minutes, but that included stops to climb rocks and explore some “caves” that are just off the trail.

Great trail! I think it should be rated moderate as the terrain good be difficult for younger children.

Humid today, not much water in the creek. Another day! The balance rock section was coolest.

This trail is nice and shady with some fun rocks. Some parts are muddy, but there are marked paths that cut around the mud and then right back to the trail.

Beautiful, fairly easy trail. If you come after rain the rocks will be very slippery so be careful! I would recommend hiking boots for that reason. Saw some people today with tennis shoes and they were struggling.

Little rocky but overall very nice trail. Lots of poison ivy and pretty crowded
