We started at the BMX track(best bathroom in the park) and started on the yellow trail by the pavilion. Very scenic walk. There is one hill that is very steep will kick your butt. Made our way over to the Tranquility Day Use road (the one that goes to the old boy scout cabins) turned left on that road and hiked up the hill to the old camp. Went straight by the Rock Leader Lodge and found a horse trail marked 229. This will lead you down to the old lake. Take a right and you end up on the yellow trail again that will eventually lead you over to Maggies Glen. Once there we took the yellow red connector to the right over to the red road. We walked the bike trail (watch out!) until we found the white trail to the left. We followed the white trail over to the new cabins and the old lake. We continued straight which is on the right side of the lake. This will take you by the old dam and back to the BMX track. Loved this one. It turned out to be 8 miles taking this route. Saw 2 snakes close to the beginning but they were non poisonous.
